Terms of Service

1. Service Provider

The stampista.com platform and the tools on it (Stampista Cuts, Stampista Double-Sided, Stampista Scanner and Stampista Marketing, together the "service") are provided by Fabio Ferrari, a natural person not carrying on a business activity, Italian tax code FRRFBA96R18B774C, residing at Piazzale Cuoco 5, Milan, Italy, reachable at contact@stampista.com.

2. Description of the Service

stampista.com is a set of tools for people who design and print in 3D. These Terms apply to all of them; where a section names one tool, it applies to that tool only.

Stampista Cuts splits a 3D model into pieces, along flat or curved cuts, and can add connectors so the pieces fit back together. It is free and needs no account. It runs entirely in your browser: the model is opened, cut and exported on your own device and is never sent to the provider; closing or reloading the page discards it. The provider receives only anonymous usage counts (see the Privacy Policy).

Stampista Double-Sided turns two words into a printable 3D model that reads as the first word from one side and as the second from the other. It is free, needs no account and runs entirely in your browser: the words and the model are never sent to the provider. The provider receives only anonymous usage counts (see the Privacy Policy).

Stampista Scanner is an automated search engine for similar products: it lets 3D model designers search, from the STL file of their own product, for web pages showing visually or conceptually similar physical products. The STL file is read in your browser, which renders a search image from it: only that image and the product's name, description and tags reach the provider. The tool accepts STL files only (synthetic 3D models): photos and videos cannot be uploaded. For each result the service computes one or more automatic similarity metrics (see Section 6), used solely to find and rank results by relevance. The service is offered free of charge within a monthly per-user search limit and an overall shared limit tied to the availability of the third-party reverse-image search providers. At the user's request, the service can run periodic automatic checks (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) on saved products, with optional email notification, and provides an in-app channel for submitting requests and reports to the provider.

Stampista Marketing is a separate tool that, at the user's explicit request, uses artificial intelligence to generate marketing content (marketplace and social copy, images, and short videos) from a product photo and a description the user uploads. Unlike the Scanner, this tool allows uploading photos, which are sent to third-party AI providers (see the Privacy Policy) solely for generation. Generated content is provided "as is" (see Sections 4 and 6).

Stampista Marketing also offers, as an experimental feature, a "Voice-over video": from the same product photo, the AI proposes a script and a sequence of shots (editable by the user), then generates the corresponding video clips, a synthetic text-to-speech voice and captions, and assembles them into a single vertical video. The voice is entirely synthetic and does not belong to any real person (no real person's voice or likeness is cloned or used). Because this is content generated or manipulated by artificial intelligence, where you publish it you must disclose its artificial nature as required by applicable law (including the transparency obligation of Art. 50 of EU Regulation 2024/1689 on AI) and by the rules of the target platforms, and you must not use it for deceptive purposes. The usage limits in Section 5 and the warranties in Section 8 continue to apply.

Credits. Using Stampista Marketing, and Stampista Scanner searches beyond the free allowance, is done with prepaid credits denominated in euros. The price of each generation (texts, images, videos) and of each paid search is shown in the interface before the operation and is set by the provider. Credits are deducted only on the successful completion of each individual operation: operations that are stopped, cancelled, or fail are not charged (or, if already charged, are refunded). Credits already used for content actually generated are non-refundable. The first 5 Scanner searches each month are free; beyond that, each search costs €0.49. Where the purchase feature is available, credits can be bought on the platform via a third-party payment provider and are credited only upon a successful payment.

3. Registration and Account

Stampista Cuts and Stampista Double-Sided can be used without an account; by using them you accept these Terms. Stampista Scanner and Stampista Marketing require an account with a name/nickname, a valid email address, and a password. You represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Registration requires explicit acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

4. Uploaded Content and Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the rights to the models and content you use with the service. STL files used in Stampista Cuts and Stampista Scanner are processed in your browser and never uploaded: the provider neither receives nor keeps them. For the content that is sent (the Scanner's search image and product text, the Marketing photo and text), you grant the service provider a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use, store, and transmit it solely to provide the requested service (including transmission to strictly necessary third-party providers, e.g. the reverse-image search service and the image-matching service).

You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload the content you provide and that it does not infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

Stampista Cuts. You are responsible for having the right to modify the models you cut and to use, print, share or sell the resulting pieces: cutting a model does not change its licence, and a model licensed for personal use stays so after it is split.

Stampista Double-Sided. You are responsible for the words you choose: do not use other people's trademarks, names or texts without the right to, nor unlawful or offensive content.

Stampista Marketing. By uploading a product photo and related text into the Marketing tool, you grant the provider a limited license to transmit them to the AI services required for the requested generation. You represent and warrant that you hold all rights to the uploaded content, that it does not depict identifiable people or third-party personal data, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights. AI-generated content (text, images, videos, synthetic voice and captions) is provided "as is": it may contain inaccuracies, errors, or elements resembling pre-existing material, and the provider does not guarantee its accuracy, originality, or freedom from third-party infringement. It is your sole responsibility to review it before any use or publication, to ensure its truthfulness (in particular for product claims, avoiding misleading advertising), to disclose its AI-generated nature where required, and to ensure it complies with the rules of the destination platforms and with applicable law. The voice in the "Voice-over video" is synthetic and does not reproduce any real person's voice.

Prohibited upload content. You may not upload images or videos that contain nudity or sexual content, violence or graphic/gory imagery, weapons (real or realistic replicas), hate symbols or extremist content, illegal drugs, or any unlawful, offensive or otherwise prohibited content. The platform uses automated checks to detect and reject such content; these checks are a supporting measure only, may not catch every case, and do not replace your responsibility. The provider may refuse, remove or suspend any upload and the related account at its discretion.

Personal data in images. It is the sole responsibility of the person uploading to ensure that the images or videos do not contain their own or third parties' personal data (for example faces, licence plates, documents, identifying information) and that all necessary consents or authorizations have been obtained. The provider assumes no responsibility for any personal data contained in files uploaded by the user.

Deletion of originals. The original files you upload (the product photo and any uploaded background images or videos) are deleted as soon as the requested generations are complete and, in any case, within a few hours; only the generated content you can download is retained. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.

Note: the semantic-coherence score (based on the product name, description, and tags) is currently disabled for technical reasons. Only the visual-similarity percentage is computed and shown. The sections below still describe how the full score works.

Stampista Scanner is solely an automated search engine that, starting from the content you upload, finds web pages showing similar products. For each result the service computes one or more similarity metrics - a visual-similarity percentage and, when you provide a description or tags, a coherence percentage with that text, combined into an overall score. This score is solely a technical tool to find and rank results by relevance: it expresses no judgment and does not label or imply that any product or third-party seller is a copy, a counterfeiter, an unfair competitor, or otherwise the author of any wrongdoing. The platform assigns no qualitative labels and gives no result any meaning beyond "product potentially similar to the one searched."

The similarity score has no evidentiary or legal value and does not constitute a finding of intellectual property infringement, proof that a product is sold without a license, legal advice, or a judgment on any party's conduct or good faith. Verifying whether an infringement actually exists, ascertaining that a product is truly sold without the necessary licenses, and any due-diligence activity fall entirely outside the service and remain your sole responsibility. Likewise, any data, image, screenshot, percentage, or other element obtained through the platform has no legal or evidentiary value and is not intended to be used as evidence in any forum.

Results are generated by an automated process, are not verified by a person before being shown, and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading (false positives and false negatives). Content relating to third parties shown in results (URLs, product images, domain) is obtained via third-party search services from publicly accessible web sources; the service provider does not independently verify the accuracy of this data and does not control its content.

You are solely responsible for interpreting the results, for any independent verification, and for any action (including contacting third-party sellers, cease-and-desist letters, or legal proceedings) taken based on them. Any dispute or legal liability arising from such actions is solely between you and the third party concerned: the service provider remains entirely extraneous to it. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the provider from any claim, damage, or cost arising from use of the results or from action you take against third parties identified by the service.

Stampista Cuts and Stampista Double-Sided. The pieces, connectors and files these tools produce are computed automatically and provided "as is": they may contain errors in geometry, dimensions or tolerances. Before printing, you must check that the pieces are correct, fit together and are strong enough for their use. The provider is not liable for failed prints, wasted material, damage to printers, or any use of the printed parts, in particular where they bear loads or must be safe (for example toys for children, items in contact with food, or parts of machines or vehicles).

7. Reporting and Removing Content

Anyone who believes a result shown by the service contains inaccurate, harmful, or unlawful information about them - including third parties identified in search results - may report it by writing to contact@stampista.com, specifying the result URL and the reasons for the report. We will review the report and provide a reasoned response within a reasonable time, with the possibility of removing the result from visible results.

Likewise, the operator of a website or platform (for example a marketplace) that does not want its content or links to its pages to appear among the service's results may request their removal by writing to contact@stampista.com, indicating the domain or URLs concerned. We will manually exclude that domain from visible results within a reasonable time.

8. Service Availability and Usage Limits

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without guarantee of continuous operation. Search functionality depends on a third-party provider (SerpAPI/Google Lens, used for the renders generated from STL files) subject to its own availability and usage limits; if the shared monthly capacity is exhausted, the service may temporarily suspend new searches until the period resets. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, with notice where reasonably possible.

Stampista Cuts and Stampista Double-Sided run on your device and depend on your browser (WebGL and WebAssembly): very large models may be slow or exceed the memory available.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service provider is not liable for indirect or consequential damages or loss of profit arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for willful misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury, to the extent such exclusion is not permitted under applicable Italian law, including consumer protection law for users who qualify as consumers.

10. Suspension and Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms, with notice to the user where possible. Upon account termination, data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the site with reasonable advance notice; continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of them.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For users who qualify as consumers under the Italian Consumer Code, the exclusive competent forum is that of the consumer's place of residence or domicile. For users acting in the course of a business or professional activity, the exclusive competent forum is the Court of Milan, Italy.
